Job Title: Specialist SEN Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Mentor to join our team at Academics Ltd in Windsor and Maidenhead.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or experienced professional looking to pursue a career in mental health, education, or social care. As a Mental Health Support Mentor, you will be working closely with pupils facing diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety, stress, attachment concerns, and depression.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting young people in managing their emotions while fostering a trusting and supportive environment. You will work closely with the class teacher, helping with classroom activities and tasks, and assisting students in regulating and processing their emotions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing emotional support and guidance to pupils experiencing mental health challenges
  • Working closely with the class teacher to develop strategies for supporting pupils
  • Assisting with classroom activities and tasks to promote pupil engagement and learning

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, patience, and enthusiasm for education. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional growth, with opportunities for training and development in mental health, education, and social care.

Salary: £83 - £95 per day (dependent on experience, training, and qualifications)
