About the Role
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our team as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Actuarial Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Actuarial Science and Data Analytics.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a Fellow or Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) with professional or teaching experience relevant to actuarial science. They will be expected to develop links with the profession and industry to foster knowledge exchange between the university and industry, including work experience opportunities for students.
About the School/Department/Institute/Project
The School of Actuarial Science is part of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, which comprises five schools and two institutes. The Faculty's student population has grown in recent years, both within the UK and overseas, and its research profile has strengthened considerably.
