About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team at Haskel, a leading manufacturer of high-pressure fluid management systems. As an onsite Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in the commissioning and testing of our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission and test Haskel systems, including FAT and witness testing
  • Liaise with customers on technical queries, resolving issues and troubleshooting PLC programs
  • Develop new test procedures and commissioning documentation
  • Ensure clear and concise communication with customers
  • Carry out on-site training activities for customers on safe and efficient system operation, basic routine maintenance, and product operation
  • Review and complete method statements and risk assessments as required
  • Contribute to department metrics on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and employee assistance
  • Comply with Ingersoll Rand's code of ethics and follow company EH&S processes and procedures
  • Drive six sigma initiatives on the test site

Requirements

  • HNC in Electrical or PLC Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • Hydraulic testing experience and knowledge of P&ID drawings
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and baseline understanding of PLC
  • Leadership skills and IT skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and JDE
