Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Verto People. As a Test Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for hydrogen compressed air systems, leading and motivating a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring safety compliance, driving continuous improvements, and reporting performance data to the Engineering Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for hydrogen compressed air systems.
  • Oversee and motivate a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Drive continuous improvements in engineering testing procedures.
  • Adhere to safety standards and risk assessments.
  • Provide updates and performance data to the Engineering Director.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements:

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing or engineering projects.
  • Expertise in hazardous areas.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities within engineering.
  • Expertise in high-pressure gas systems and Lean principles would be advantageous.
  • Commutable to Sunderland daily.
