Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Theatre Nurse to join our team at Ramsay Health Care UK. As a member of our theatre department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical outcomes.
About the Role
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. You will be based at Ashtead Hospital, Surrey, which has an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality healthcare services. Our hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services, including diagnostic procedures, orthopaedic surgery, and pain management.
Your Responsibilities
- You will work as part of a dynamic theatre team, supporting surgeons and other medical professionals in delivering exceptional patient care.
- As a Clinical Theatre Nurse, you will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, administering anaesthesia, and monitoring vital signs during procedures.
- You will also assist with post-operative care, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of comfort and support.
- Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining a clean and safe theatre environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
NMC registration with no restrictions or conditionsSurgical scrub experience within all specialtiesA Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable but not essentialThe ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independentlyA flexible and positive attitudeA warm, considerate, and empathetic characterWhat We Offer
