About the Role
XO is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on health and safety matters to management and staff.
- Oversee the development and delivery of health and safety training programs for employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure health and safety considerations are integrated into business operations.
- Stay up-to-date with changing health and safety regulations and best practices, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of UK H&S Regulation.
- Experience of using online integrated management tools.
- Experience in a highly regulated environment, such as aviation, nuclear, rail, or construction.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Centrik software.
- Experience of working in Part 145.
- Membership of IOSH or equivalent industry body.
- Knowledge of H&S regulatory requirements in Germany, Malta, France.
