About the Role

XO is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on health and safety matters to management and staff.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of health and safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure health and safety considerations are integrated into business operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing health and safety regulations and best practices, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK H&S Regulation.
  • Experience of using online integrated management tools.
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment, such as aviation, nuclear, rail, or construction.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Centrik software.
  • Experience of working in Part 145.
  • Membership of IOSH or equivalent industry body.
  • Knowledge of H&S regulatory requirements in Germany, Malta, France.
