Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a part-qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP team in Plymouth, as part of our Industrial Placement Scheme. This exciting opportunity will provide you with exposure to complex project work, receiving support from our Chartered Engineers.
Key Responsibilities:- Design production using Revit and 3D BIM modelling software
- Design co-ordination with other professional disciplines
- Developing energy modelling & compliance calculation of building performance
- Energy Strategy Reports / Sustainability Statements for planning applications
- Participating in design team and client meetings
- Attending site visits
- Be part-way through a relevant degree, BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons)
- Be driven, hardworking, productive and determined
- Be willing and eager to learn new skills
- Have strong IT competencies, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to new software packages
- Have excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills
