About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Outsourcing function within our UK Accounting Services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering a profitable service line, providing high-quality client service, and ensuring a first-class experience for our people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our leadership team to gain a deep understanding of our business and processes.
  • Lead and inspire our team to drive business growth through change and innovation.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team to meet the demands of our growing business.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to achieve sustained and rapid growth.
  • Take the lead in converting new business opportunities and delivering proposals and presentations to prospects.
  • Support the development of our outsourcing manager team and foster a culture of coaching and development.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to our team and clients.
  • Manage team finances and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Lead on the onboarding of large and complex assignments.
  • Be a point of escalation for clients and take the lead in conversations where required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA, or CIPFA).
  • Extensive experience of team leadership and managing large outsourcing assignments.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102.
  • Good knowledge of UK VAT, corporation tax, and employment tax rules.
  • Some experience of IFRS would be beneficial.
