Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional client service.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports for clients.
  • Manage the delivery of outsourced accounting functions including bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, and management accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve internal processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with the latest accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
  • Prior experience of managing or mentoring more junior members of staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding client service.
