Yard and Site Operative Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Yard and Site Operative to join our client's team at their Head Office near Uckfield, East Sussex. This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate of £15 to £25 depending on experience.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the organisation of the workshop, stores, and yard, as well as maintaining and developing the yard and buildings. Work will also be required on site from time to time, including deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the organisation of the workshop, stores, and yard
  • Maintain and develop the yard and buildings
  • Work on site from time to time, including deliveries
  • Have a background in construction
  • Hold a CSCS card (other H&S training an advantage)
  • Be an enthusiastic and proactive team player
  • Be organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Be willing to work at height
  • Have a driving licence valid in the UK
  • Have experience driving FLT & Telehandlers
