Staff Nurse Paediatrics Specialist

Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a motivated and experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our Acute Paediatric Nursing Service at Bronglais General Hospital in Aberystwyth. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to children and their families, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing holistic nursing care to children and their families, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with children, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of evidence-based practice.
- Supporting the development of junior staff members and contributing to the growth and development of the team.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current NMC registration as a Paediatric Nurse.
- Experience of working in a Paediatric setting, with a strong understanding of child development and family-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a desire to contribute to the growth and development of the team.
