Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join the team at Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth. The clinical area provides local services for children, including 6 inpatient children's beds, 1 high dependency stabilisation bed and a four bedded Paediatric Ambulatory Care Unit, as well as Oncology care, Child and Adolescent Mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide supervisory management and co-ordinate the unit on a day-to-day basis.
- Co-ordinate and manage patient care, ensuring high-quality evidence-based practice.
- Participate in recruitment and selection, and participate in IPR.
- Lead and manage the team, ensuring sound knowledge of paediatric nursing.
- Participate in research and audit, and handle clinical incidents and complaints.
- Current NMC registration.
- RN part8 or 15 of the register.
- Evidence of CPD.
- Post graduate diploma or equivalent experience.
- NVQ D32/33 Assessors course.
- Possession of relevant degree or in process of obtaining.
- EPLS/APLS/PALS.
Welsh Speaker (Level 1).

£35,922 to £43,257 a year (pro rata if part-time).
