Cloud Engineering Director

About the Role:

Piper Maddox is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineering Director to lead our digital solutions team and drive the growth of our cloud infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that align with our business goals and technological vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering team, developing and executing strategies that align with RES's business goals and technological vision.
  • Drive the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve and innovate our infrastructure and cloud capabilities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and operations, to deliver high-quality solutions and support our growth initiatives.
  • Ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of our infrastructure and cloud services, implementing best practices and proactive measures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior infrastructure or cloud engineering role, with a strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure technologies, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
