Mechanical Systems Design Lead

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Design Lead to join our team at Morson Talent. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the design and development of mechanical systems.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your skills and experience in mechanical engineering. As a Mechanical Systems Design Lead, you will work closely with our engineering teams to design and develop mechanical systems that meet customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for various applications
  • Lead technical teams to deliver high-quality designs and solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems
  • Develop and implement design solutions to agreed time, cost, and quality targets
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Requirements

  • BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent in a relevant STEM degree
  • CEng or capable of achieving CEng
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices
  • Experience in leading technical teams and delivering complex projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
