Financial Lines Claims Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Lines Claims Manager to join our team at Rotterdam Innovation City. As a key member of our underwriting department, you will be responsible for organizing, structuring, and growing our claims function.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and innovative company. You will lead our claims team, handling open market claims, building tech functionality, and developing processes to enable smooth claims handling and reporting for clients across various industries.
You will have a deep understanding of financial lines and commercial insurance claims, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on claims experience. You will possess excellent negotiation skills, the ability to develop and maintain relationships with insurer claims teams, and a strong understanding of policy documents.
The ideal candidate will be a super-organised, proactive self-starter with excellent attention to detail, able to think outside the box and provide exceptional service to our clients through the claims process. You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring junior colleagues, providing technical insight on policy wordings and claims processes, and articulating our claims value proposition internally and externally.
