Premier Recruitment Group Limited is working in partnership with a well-established care organisation based in Canterbury to recruit forward-thinking professionals to join their team. The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to supervise and lead a team of support workers, enabling service users to live as fulfilling and satisfying lives as possible. This full-time and permanent role involves acting as a role model for staff, promoting understanding and empathy towards the people they support.
The ideal candidate will be actively engaged with service users and staff, continuously seeking opportunities for improvements to service user lifestyles and staff skills. They will participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
Maintaining effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and other stakeholders while respecting confidentiality is also essential. Accurate notes and records must be maintained as required.
This role requires experience in working with complex individuals, holding a Level 3 diploma in health and social care. Positive behaviour training is advantageous, but the ability to demonstrate an understanding of working with complex people and their challenges is crucial.
