IT Systems and Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to lead our technology management team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex systems, leading cross-functional teams, and driving performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish performance goals and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development to enhance team performance and capability.
  • Oversee IT End User Services, Computer Operations, Data Centre Services, and Hardware Support Services to maintain customer satisfaction and ensure quality standards.
  • Provide technical expertise on the evaluation, selection, implementation, and maintenance of information systems.
  • Develop strategic plans and practices that support integrated and progressive infrastructure and operations to meet current and future business requirements.
  • Drive automation in operational tasks to improve efficiency and traceability of activities.
  • Partner with Cyber Security leadership to develop, implement, and manage IT controls, policies, procedures, practices, and processes.
  • Research and implement best practices for infrastructure services, including proven infrastructure methodologies, service management processes, and operational support.
Requirements:
  • Substantial managerial experience in technology, team leadership, and managing complex systems.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams effectively and collaboratively in a mid-sized or large organization.
  • The ability to focus on multiple products and communicate effectively within your team and with other key stakeholders.
  • Excellent innovation skills and a strong commercial sense to ensure returns on investments made into technology.
  • Exposure to broad and diverse technology stacks - Microsoft 365, Azure, HP Servers, PDA's, Zebra Printers, Sonicwall.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects and critical, highly reliable systems.
  • Experience in managing budgets and forecasting project costs.
  • Experience in change management would be an advantage.
