About the Role:

  • This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people with SEN, supporting them to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • You will work closely with classroom teachers and other support staff to provide personalised assistance and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs in a variety of settings, including classrooms, corridors, and playgrounds.
  • Assist teaching staff with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree graded 2:1 or above.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, patient approach.
  • Previous experience working with SEN students is preferred but not essential.
