About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Environmental Manager to join our Strategic Pipeline Alliance Framework (SPA) in the Peterborough area. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans to minimize the impact of our construction activities on the environment.
  • Collaborate with our project teams to ensure compliance with relevant environmental legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor environmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with environmental regulators and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on environmental best practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • Environmental degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of key environmental legislation, including protected species.
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
  • Direct experience with environmental regulators.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
