About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Environmental Manager to join our Strategic Pipeline Alliance Framework (SPA) in the Peterborough area. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our infrastructure projects while maintaining the highest standards of environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement environmental management plans to minimize the impact of our projects on the environment.
  2. Collaborate with our project teams to ensure compliance with relevant environmental legislation and regulations.
  3. Analyze data and provide insights to inform environmental decision-making.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with environmental regulators and stakeholders.
  5. Produce high-quality reports and dashboards to communicate environmental performance.
  6. Champion sustainability, safety, health, and environment within our organization.
  7. Ensure that our projects are delivered in a way that minimizes harm to the environment and promotes sustainability.
Requirements
  • Environmental degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of key environmental legislation and regulations.
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
  • Direct experience working with environmental regulators.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
