Compassionate Lesson Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and motivated Lesson Support Assistant to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of students with additional needs. As a trusted supply agency specializing in staffing for SEND and Alternative Provision schools, we work closely with educators and schools to ensure the right fit for both parties.
Job Details
* Location: Birmingham area.
* Salary: £80-£85 per day.
* Job Type: Part-time/Full-time.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the delivery of lessons, adapting materials to meet individual needs.
* Provide one-to-one or small group support as directed by teaching staff.
* Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
* Support students' social and emotional development.
* Work closely with teachers to prepare resources and maintain classroom organization.
Requirements
* A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
* Experience supporting children or young adults with additional needs, preferably in an educational setting.
* Confidence and compassion in providing personal care where necessary.
* Strong behavior management skills and a patient, child-centered approach.
* A DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
