Maintenance Engineer

As a key member of our team at Finning International, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our customers' heavy mobile plant equipment. Your expertise in preventative maintenance will be instrumental in maximizing equipment availability and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preventative Maintenance Servicing: Carry out routine servicing of equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, including oil sampling and other maintenance tasks.
  • Machine Inspection: Conduct thorough visual inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and develop maintenance plans to prevent costly repairs.
  • Minor Repairs: Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as identified during inspections, including installation of telematic systems and undercarriage inspections.

As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with our controller to ensure seamless execution of maintenance plans and optimal equipment performance. Your attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in this role.
