About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our team in Birmingham. As a Junior Buyer, you will play a critical role in the development of new products for our retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of critical path for developing new products
  • Pitch to retailers for own brand projects
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for managing own brand projects on selected retailer accounts
  • Brief suppliers on new projects as required
  • Ensure familiarity with customer's current ranges and identify potential gaps in range
  • Develop proposals to fill gaps in range

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience in an administrative/support role, preferably as an Assistant Buyer in a Buying office environment
  • Experience in retail merchandising and critical path management
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, 3 days a week in the office

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000
  • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
