About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Child Health Expert to join our team at George Eliot Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general Paediatric and Neonatal services, with a focus on Diabetes care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Paediatrics, with experience in Neonatology and Diabetes care. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • To provide high-quality patient care, with a focus on safety and effectiveness
  • To undertake administrative duties associated with patient care, including data analysis and reporting
  • To participate in resident on-call rota, ensuring seamless service delivery

Requirements

  • Full GMC Registration with license to practice
  • Eligibility for inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register as a Paediatrician or within 6 months of obtaining Specialist Registration
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
