The Data Science Summer Analyst will be responsible for generating novel and differentiated analytics, platforms, and tools to improve our understanding of clients' investor base, capital structure, and strategic actions. This will involve working closely with senior leaders in the IB and the Chief Data Scientist to develop and implement data-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, economics, finance, statistics, or a related field, and will be proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL. They will also have excellent communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Citi values diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve or have achieved a 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level, and will be fluent in a second language (desirable but not essential).

The Data Science Summer Analyst will be required to balance a broad set of deliverables, including direct client work, developing insightful and practical analytical models, and creating marketing materials for M&A and Capital Markets transactions.

Citi offers a competitive salary and a hybrid working model, with a mandatory three days in the office and an optional two days from home.
