Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Payroll Advisor to join our team in Attleborough, Norfolk.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled professional to manage the weekly and monthly payroll process with precision and timeliness. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with various stakeholders, including managers, staff, finance department, and external parties, on payroll-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Run the payroll process: Ensure accurate and timely payments to employees, handling adjustments, deductions, absences, entitlements, pensions, audits, and other payroll-related tasks.
  2. Liaise with teams: Communicate effectively with managers, staff, finance department, and external parties on various payroll matters, ensuring smooth operations and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  3. Manage payroll records: Maintain accurate and complete records of sickness, holidays, and other absences or adjustments, review holiday entitlement in accordance with new proposals, and inform employees and managers accordingly.
  4. Calculate holiday entitlement: Determine holiday entitlement for new starters and leavers, taking into account their start date, end date, working hours, and contract terms, verify holiday records, and coordinate with managers to ensure employees use their entitled holidays.
  5. Oversee court orders and deductions: Manage court orders and deductions from pay, such as attachment of earnings orders, child support orders, or student loan repayments, liaise with councils and courts as required to confirm amounts and duration.
  6. Verify ID and bank details: Check documents, generate routine reports and payslips, and respond to pay queries from managers and staff via email, phone, or in person, providing clear and accurate information.
  7. Assist with payroll audits: Gather and organize relevant documents and data for internal or external audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar payroll capacity and possess strong communication skills, with the confidence to interact with various teams across the business.

Salary Estimate: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
