About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our Patient Pathway Team as a Healthcare Pathway Coordinator. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Patient Pathway Performance manager in the delivery of Referral to Treatment targets and Service and Financial Framework targets.
Main Responsibilities
The Healthcare Pathway Coordinator will be responsible for liaising with staff groups across the Health Board on behalf of the Surgical Specialties Directorate, providing and receiving routine information and distributing it to relevant staff. They will also be responsible for highlighting and communicating any risk of breaches to clinicians and managers to enable further action to be taken.
Requirements
- Experience of healthcare systems and previous NHS background
- Ability to use patient management systems and knowledge of RTT guidelines
- Knowledge of health board values and ability to work in a hospital/healthcare setting
