PP Associates Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team. As a key member of the consultancy, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide architectural design engineers in producing precise AutoCAD drawings and oversee project procurement across all RIBA work stages.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze budgets to advise clients on project requirements and schemes.
  • Create comprehensive scheme designs, including cost estimates, project timelines, and detailed work specifications.
  • Develop tender documents and provide guidance on contractor selection, design teams, and procurement methods.
  • Administer contracts effectively throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring they are managed efficiently to meet budgetary constraints and deadlines.
  • Perform detailed surveys to assess the condition of buildings, identify defects, and recommend repair solutions.
  • Obtain capital funding from various agencies and advise on the management and execution of building maintenance, including creating preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Execute party wall procedures for both building owners and adjoining property owners.

Requirements:

  • MRICS or MCIOB qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience in a property consultancy providing design and contract administration services.
  • Proven track record of handling responsibilities in the specified areas, particularly in delivering services to the public sector, with a preference for experience in the education sector.
  • Comprehensive expertise in all aspects of building surveying.
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.
