Job Title: Food Service Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Service Assistant to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient and visitor catering services to all customers, patients, departments, and business tenants within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a quality patient and visitor focused service
  • Work as part of a team on a 5 days over 7 days' rota
  • Provide knowledge of Policies and Procedures and Food Fluid and Nutrition Standards within NHS
  • Have relevant experience of a similar busy food service environment, including till experience and filling and cleaning of several busy vending machines
  • Work between the galley dining room, vending on various shifts

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety Regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
