Job Description

Job Title: Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote (with travel to client sites)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems in social housing contracts between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in accordance with the maintenance specification and document all work in real-time using a PDA.
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed and passed to the contract administrator without delay.
  • Undertake point of work risk assessments (POWRAs) prior to starting work and ensure safe working practices at all times.
  • Prepare and use method statements and risk assessments for all tasks undertaken.
  • Maintenance and repair of electrical systems, including installation work and certification.
  • Basic knowledge in building fabric repairs.

Requirements:

  • 18th Edition qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
