About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Shop Manager at our Shelter shop in Carlisle. As a key member of our shop management team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Shop Manager to lead a team of dedicated volunteers and engage with the local community to raise awareness about Shelter's cause.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in building a strong and effective team to drive sales and maximize donations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase community engagement and awareness about Shelter's mission
- Represent Shelter in the local community, sharing our vision and values with stakeholders
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers and volunteers

Requirements:

- Proven experience in managing and empowering teams to achieve sales and revenue targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with volunteers, customers, and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive business growth
- Passionate about making a difference in society and committed to Shelter's mission and values
