Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist - Outpatients
Permanent / Full Time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy team at The Portland Hospital, a leading provider of private healthcare in the UK. Our hospital is renowned for its clinical excellence and provides a wide range of specialist services for women and children.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with a variety of diagnoses, including cerebral palsy, autism, developmental delays, and congenital and genetic differences. They will also be involved in wheelchair and equipment assessments and prescriptions.
As a Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What we're looking for:
- BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- Current registered member of Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Minimum 2 years experience in Paediatrics in a clinical setting, such as an outpatient clinic or hospital
- Knowledge and application of paediatric OT assessments and interventions relevant to a paediatric client group
- Experience working with an outpatient caseload with varying knowledge and experience with different conditions and diagnoses
