At The Ivy Collection, we're seeking a highly motivated and passionate Training and Development Specialist to join our dynamic team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside our Operations Managers, Learning and Development Team, and General Managers to develop and elevate our Ivy People from FOH & BOH senior managers to team members level on our Ivy and Unique Brands sites.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing training for FOH roles in our restaurant, identifying and assessing the training needs of the sites, and developing individualised and group training programs that address specific business needs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and managing training for FOH roles in our restaurant
  • Responsible for identifying and assessing the training needs of the sites
  • Developing individualised and group training programs that address specific business needs
  • Delivering standards per company training manuals, targeting and reporting on tangible results
  • Implementing effective and purposeful training methods around Onboarding, Menu Changes, Product tastings, and Team Briefings
  • Evaluating organisational performance to ensure that training meets business needs and improves performance
  • Assessing employees' skills, performance and productivity to identify areas of improvement
  • Effectively communicating with team members, trainers and management
  • Helping troubleshoot issues on-site by working shifts/shadowing service

The successful candidate will also be responsible for coaching and developing the training mentors in their area, overseeing, training, coaching, and mentoring the training mentors in their area, and building relationships with General Managers and Operations to ensure training is taking place in the restaurants and the appropriate training is being requested and delivered.
