**Job Title:** Trauma and Addiction Expert

 

The Forward Trust is seeking a highly skilled Trauma and Addiction Expert to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in trauma and addiction, with a focus on reducing mortality rates among high-risk individuals.

 

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading social enterprise that empowers people to break the cycles of crime and addiction. As a Trauma and Addiction Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce mortality rates among high-risk individuals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce mortality rates among high-risk individuals
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to share knowledge and best practices
  • Support staff, stakeholders, and clients through training and development initiatives
  • Represent the organization at events and functions to promote awareness and build relationships
  • Collaborate with communication colleagues to enhance awareness and engagement

 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge and experience of trauma and addiction prevention and/or management
  • Strategy and policy development skills
  • Project planning and delivery expertise across multiple areas of an organization
  • Influencing, culture-enhancing leadership, and change management skills
  • Auditing, needs assessment, and remedial/improvement planning abilities
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Experience establishing and maintaining efficient systems
  • Confident public speaking and presenting skills
  • Able to understand different stakeholders and prioritize work as necessary
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
