Our client, Merco Recruitment, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team in the Acute Adult Inpatient Services department. This role involves developing and managing individualized occupational therapy plans for patients with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement tailored therapy interventions, activities, and treatments to promote patient rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Foster effective working relationships with colleagues, ensuring seamless collaboration within the clinical team.
  • Contribute to business development by promoting therapy services as part of the unit's strategic plan.
  • Cultivate open communication with patients, relatives, carers, and relevant parties throughout the rehabilitation process.

We are looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist who can lead the implementation of new services and share best practices across sites.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent, with accreditation from the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and experience in delivering high-quality care. Salary: £30-£40 per hour.
