About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Science Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who require dedicated, in-person support to achieve their academic goals.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality tuition to learners who are struggling to meet age-related academic expectations. You will create engaging lesson plans, deliver tuition, and monitor learner progress to ensure they achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver tailored tuition sessions that cater to the individual needs of each learner.
  • Monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust your teaching approach as needed.
  • Collaborate with learner guardians and teachers to ensure a seamless learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Minimum 6 months of UK teaching or tutoring experience.
  • Be willing to undergo a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process.
  • Have a commitment to safeguarding and a passion for supporting learners with complex needs.
