**Global Head of Procurement Opportunity**

We are delighted to be leading the search for a Global Category Leader for a world-class consumer goods company.

The role will lead the global procurement team, driving competitive advantage through mid-term sourcing strategies and strong supplier relationships.

The company's 2025 procurement vision aims at delivering more value for the business along five key dimensions: Supply Continuity, Cost Out, Cash Flow optimization, Sustainability and Supplier Innovation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Aligning the global business strategy with procurement sourcing strategies, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams.
  • Managing external manufacturing and co-packing partners in Belgium, including regular forecasting reviews, cost modeling, annual negotiations, contract management, project management, and continuous improvement targets.
  • Directly sourcing packaging materials from source to contract for co-packing operations, identifying best suppliers, running tenders, negotiating final terms and conditions, finalizing contracts, and setting prices.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a worldwide organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams, and natural leadership skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, proficiency in another language is a plus.
