We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Senior Analyst to join our team at E.ON, a leading international energy company. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Generation Services growth strategy and maximizing the potential opportunity presented by the growing renewables market space.

About the Role

The Commercial Senior Analyst will be responsible for leading detailed modelling and analysis to ensure Generation Services meets its Business Plan. This will include monitoring a detailed KPI dashboard and producing management reports each month in conjunction with npower Finance to track Generation Services progress to meeting its Business Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead detailed modelling and analysis to ensure Generation Services meets its Business Plan.
  • Produce management reports each month in conjunction with npower Finance to track Generation Services progress to meeting its Business Plan.
  • Provide pivotal input to origination, structuring and execution of new renewable product transactions and power purchase agreements with internal & external counterparties to deliver significant gross margin.
  • Responsible for contributing to the development of new bespoke pricing, billing and settlement processes supporting a suite of complex electricity products, including those for embedded benefits, ROCs & REGO and netting arrangements.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience of exposure to dynamic, commercial environments with a track record of ongoing success.
  • Technical expertise will follow the full end-to-end contract life cycle, including advanced knowledge of relevant contract structures.
  • Experience in the development and negotiation of complex products and contractual arrangements.
  • The ability to make optimal decisions in a challenging fast-moving environment.
  • Have strong IT skills MS Office suite (especially Excel), VB(A), statistical packages.
