Tesco Customer Service Delivery Associate

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Delivery Driver at Tesco. As the face of our company, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our customers receive their shopping in a timely and efficient manner.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the van and trays used are clean and well-maintained, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Leave the back yard clean and tidy, with all rubbish removed and litter picked up as necessary.
- Wash trays as part of the tray wash process to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Load the van as required, checking that it is roadworthy and ready for use.
- Talk to customers about any changes to their order, including substitutions and short code items, and offer a refund for any items they are unhappy with.
- Care for products and deliveries as if they were your own, ensuring they are handled with care and attention.
- Explain to customers that they will not be charged extra for substitutions, and deliver their shopping during their allocated time slot.
- Call customers before arriving at their property if early, and inform the store or centre if running late.
