About the Role:

The successful candidate will be joining a team of dedicated professionals as a SEN Mentor, providing vital support to students in a vocational setting. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and supportive individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support and pastoral care to students in a vocational setting
  • Work closely with class teachers to develop meaningful programs and support student progress
  • Act as a supportive pastoral contact for students and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Supervise classes to cover staff absence and work in small teams to deliver quality cover classes

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic and supportive individual with a passion for working with young people
  • Interest in at least one of the following areas: Hospitality, Art & Creativity, or Core & Academic subjects
  • Ability to develop and sustain meaningful relationships with students and staff
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills and knowledge in a supportive environment
