Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 driver to join our team at Velocity. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trunking fridge trailers to various RDCs
  • Collection on the way back or changeovers in set locations
  • Typically shifts will last approximately 12 hours

Working Hours:

Flexible start times and days, ranging from Monday to Sunday

Pay Rates:

  • Mon – Fri (1st 8 hours): £12.84
  • Mon – Fri (after 8 hours): £16.08
  • Saturday (all hours): £16.08
  • Sunday (all hours): £19.03
  • Bank Holidays (all hours): £25.72

Requirements:

  • Must have held a valid driving license for at least 2 years
  • 1 year of experience as a Class 1 driver
  • No more than 6 points for minor offenses

Induction:

A paid induction will be provided, consisting of a 1-hour driving assessment and a 6-7 hour classroom induction.
