Job Overview:
As an FLT Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within the facility. Your expertise with both Counterbalance and Reach trucks will be essential in supporting production lines and warehouse operations. We are seeking a candidate with externally obtained and accredited licenses, as we require compliance with the highest safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate both Counterbalance and Reach FLT vehicles to transport materials, goods, and pallets around the site.
* Load and unload deliveries, ensuring goods are stored in the correct locations.
* Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the forklifts to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
* Assist in inventory management, including stock checks and documentation.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Support the wider team in achieving production and operational targets.
Requirements:
* Valid and externally accredited FLT licenses for both Counterbalance and Reach trucks (in-house licenses will not be accepted).
* Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
* Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as required
