Key Responsibilities: As an FLT driver/warehouse operative, you will be responsible for:

- Handling customer schedules, pick sheets, requests, and concerns
- Managing delivery and shipping paperwork with precision
- Expertly loading and unloading vehicles of various sizes while coordinating with drivers
- Conducting pick activities, managing goods in, and overseeing shipping operations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to communicate priorities
- Ensuring thorough shift handovers with relevant information
- Upholding strict safety standards and contributing to an organized workspace through 5S practices
- Supporting delivery operations using our company van when needed

Skills and Experience: To thrive in this role, you should possess:

- Recent counterbalance FLT experience within the last 3 years - Essential
- Bendi forklift training - Preferred
- Past experience in the automotive sector - Preferred
- Familiarity with pick sheets and shipping schedules
- Prior work experience in a warehouse, stores, or goods-in setting
- Exposure to a production facility environment
- Knowledge of daily 5S routines
- Basic IT skills in MS Word, Excel, and printer/scanner usage
- Eagerness to learn new skills and systems (e.g., Sage 200)
- Commitment to safe and meticulous material handling practices
- Strong safety awareness and a proactive approach
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with teams
- Ability to work independently and foster positive relationships with colleagues and managers
- Calm and confident demeanor, even under pressure
- Confidence to identify and raise concerns constructively

Working Pattern and Compensation:

- Hourly pay: £11.40 for day shifts (37.5 hours per week)
- Shifts: Rotating pattern of days (7:00 am - 3:10 pm), backs (3:00 pm - 11:10 pm), and nights
- Additional shift allowance for back shift and night shift
- Opportunities for occasional overtime with compensation at 1.5x the normal rate
