Job Description

Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd. is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Carry out unscheduled maintenance, retrofits, and emergency breakdowns.
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues with wind turbine components.
  • Lead a team of technicians to ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
  • Replace major turbine components, such as generators and gearboxes.
Requirements:
  • Relevant formal qualifications, such as SVQ/NVQ level 3 in electrical, mechanical, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in a relevant industry, such as wind farms, power stations, or industrial process plant.
  • Valid driving license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid health and safety certificates.
  • IT proficiency on MS Suite.
