Job Summary

Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd. is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines, performing routine preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with wind turbine components, including generators and gearboxes
  • Lead a team of technicians to ensure all health and safety procedures are followed
  • Assist in all areas of site operations, including providing safe access and egress to all personnel
  • Report all incidents and occurrences as per Deutsche Windtechnik company Health and Safety policy
Requirements
  • Relevant formal qualifications, minimum SVQ/NVQ level 3 (electrical, mechanical, etc.) and/or comprehensive experience in a relevant industry
  • Ideal two years of hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical experience in an industrial environment, e.g., wind farms, power stations, industrial process plant, or similar heavy engineering maintenance environments
  • Valid driving license
