At Affinity Water Limited, we are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Model Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and improving the accuracy of our hydraulic models. With your expertise, you will provide engineering recommendations to the business, utilizing your experience with asset data science, analysis, and hydraulic modeling tools.

The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams to resolve model inaccuracies using network telemetry data, GIS, site drawings, and liaising with stakeholders. This includes reviewing and challenging model calibration submissions from consultants.

You will also undertake scenario-based analysis to determine the impact of our activities on the water network and supply. Project work will involve assessing the effects of planned/unplanned asset outages, recommending mitigations to minimize customer impact, and designing new mains or boosters.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the effective maintenance and improvement of our operational performance.

Estimated salary: £38,500 per annum (dependent on skills and experience).
