Nursery Room Leader Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Teddies Loughton Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our Under 2's room, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our young children.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team to provide a stimulating and engaging learning environment for children.
- Develop and implement rich learning opportunities and exceptional care to support children's development and meet their individual milestones.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the needs of each child.
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment.
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, or similar.
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Effective communication skills to work with children and adults.
