Lead Clinical Pharmacist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join our cutting-edge private hospital in Birmingham.

About the Role

As the Lead Clinical Pharmacist, you will lead a pharmacy team, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive ward-based services across ITU, HDU, and surgical wards. You will be responsible for overseeing clinical development, education, and training for Pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams, and lead quality improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership for dispensary services, line management of pharmacy staff, and develop clinical pharmacy services across multiple specialties.
  • Assist with the quality, governance, and assurance of pharmacy services.
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements

We are looking for a GPhC registered pharmacist with a BPharm, MPharm, or BSc in Pharmacy. You will have strong clinical skills, particularly in ITU, and experience in general medicine, inpatients, and/or haematology. Leadership and management experience is desirable.
