Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the development and delivery of our data strategy, ensuring that it aligns with our business objectives.
  • Design and implement data centric system architecture, including the creation of a central data ontology.
  • Oversee data collection, data migration, integration, warehousing, and reporting.
  • Ensure that our data solutions are compliant with regulatory requirements, including data retention, data anonymisation, and data security.
  • Provide leadership on the scope and implementation of a data centric architectural strategy for application development.
  • Oversee data warehousing strategy and delivery.

Requirements
  • Experience with a variety of database technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, and Graph.
  • Knowledge of data centric system design and architecture.
  • Experience using cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS, to deliver cloud-first data solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example and be a role model.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, able to work with limited supervision.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively, working on multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Competent user of IT, with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and confident in embracing new technology.
  • Organized, proactive, and confident self-starter.
