Enterprise Architect

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team in London. As a key member of our public sector practice, you will work with clients across the UK to help modernize their businesses and guide them through their digital transformation journeys.

The role is based in London (Stratford), with occasional travel to Manchester. You will be responsible for envisioning a transformation roadmap that aligns with the strategic and tactical direction of the client, specifically around data strategy.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with business stakeholders and project managers to understand inefficiencies in clients' existing business processes and applications and recommending solutions.
  • Providing oversight and advice to other data architects who are undertaking the design of data models and supporting the management of data dictionaries.
  • Designing data models and metadata systems, and ensuring that teams are working to the standards set for the organization.
  • Undertaking design, support, and guidance for the upgrade, management, de-commission, and archive of data in compliance with data policy.
  • Participating in governance meetings to ensure that risks and mitigation steps are identified and implemented.

We are looking for someone with experience in Cloud Transformation Engagements, data architecture, governance, innovation, modeling, standards, communication, analysis, and synthesis, as well as metadata management and innovation. You should also have experience in complex deal solutioning, running structured deals, and providing technology leadership in complex projects and programs.
